Prior to founding Lizard Direct, Ellyatt led the web marketing team at the top 20 ecommerce and number 1 health and beauty etailer Quixtar. He has also held marketing and management positions at iVillage.com, FamilyPoint.com and the Journal Square Interactive division of Advance Internet.

A native of England, Ellyatt graduated with honors from the University of Birmingham with a bachelor's degree in Economics. Ellyatt has also undertaken management courses at the University of Michigan's prestigious Executive Education Center.
